Charlie, Medical Assistant

Charlie graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Integrative Biology. As an undergraduate, Charlie worked at the USDA in Albany, CA to study the biological control of an invasive water hyacinth. He also had the opportunity to volunteer in health clinics in Chiang Mai, Thailand and Cavite, a province in the Philippines. In his free time, Charlie enjoys exploring the outdoors, playing soccer, and eating good food!

Jessica, Front Office Coordinator

The capable voice on the phone belongs to Jessica. She graduated from Heald College in 2008 with an Associates in Applied Science degree for Medical Office Administration and previously worked for a family practice/pain management office.
She plans to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration in the near future and aspires to be an office manager or hospital administrator. She enjoys fishing, shopping, and spending time with her family.

April, Medical Assistant

April graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in Microbial Biology. As an undergrad she was involved in research on RNA-based regulation of gene expression in the lab of Professor Britt Glaunsinger. She was also an intern at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics where she conducted translational research on Zika virus. Post-graduation she worked as a research technician at UCSF in the lab of Professor Rushika Perera for two years where she studied tumor heterogeneity and transcriptional regulation of lysosomal biogenesis on pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. In her spare time, April enjoys reading, writing, eating! And walking her cat Tigger.

Jacqueline, Medical Assistant

Jacqueline graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Psychology. During her undergraduate years, she was involved in the research community, where she investigated the development of attention in babies, as well as in the design community. She also volunteers at the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, and previously tutored patients in the Pediatric Dialysis Unit. Over the weekends, you can find Jacqueline exploring San Franciscan coffee and ice cream shops. She also enjoys baking and crafts.
